The Warren County Community Singers (WCCS) is a non-audition, non-profit community chorus, sponsored, in part, by the Warren County Cultural and Heritage Commission. They perform an annual "Mayfest of Music" and "Winterfest of Music" in both Hackettstown and Washington. Members are people from all walks of life who share a love of choral music.  They reside in Warren, Morris and Hunterdon counties in New Jersey, and in Pennsylvania, ranging in age from high school through senior citizens.  They perform jazz, inspirational, spiritual, sacred and secular music, old and new, and pop tunes from Broadway and Tin Pan Alley.  The group began rehearsing in the fall of 1993 and presented their first concert, "A Winterfest of Music," in December 1993 with 31 singers.  By the time of the second concert, "A Mayfest of Song," in the spring of 1994, the group had grown to 40.  In the current season, there are 60 members.

In addition to performing winter and spring concerts each year, the singers perform annually at Belvidere's annual Victorian Days Celebration and at various events throughout the county ranging from dedications, memorials and holiday tree lightings. They have performed at Shippen Manor at “Heritage Day” and the Heritage Festival sponsored by the Warren County Human Relations Commission. In December 2006, the Children’s Chorus of Warren County, which is sponsored by the Warren County Community Singers, performed on TV’s “Fox and Friends” in New York.

Each year, at the spring concert, the members award a scholarship to exceptional Warren County to high school senior(s) pursuing an education in music.

The group is directed by Dr. Kathleen Riley of Allamuchy and accompanied by Ann Hoyt of Harmony (where else!).
